As an optional service, given that a significant portion of a facility’s Medicare Payment Per Day, and in Case Mix states their Case Mix Index (CMI) is dependent upon the four late loss ADLs, Rehab Solutions offers MDSMax, a touch screen ADL recording and coding system. Caregivers respond to simple yes/no questions regarding the care that they provide and MDSMax codes and scores the ADLs based on their responses. The result is greatly improved ADL accuracy and enhanced reimbursement.
